	QUEEN		Solo for Françoise Leick Directed by Julyen Hamilton
After the rich experience of making a solo for Opiyo Okach in 2003, I am returning to the role of directing a solo for Françoise Leick. And again the challenge, after so many solos made for myself, of constructing one for another .. and this time the challenge made even more intriguing as it is for a woman. But the joy of 'writing' from another's point of view remains. The illusive biography of the individual, true or imagined, continues to strike relevance; it begs to be shared, in our present epoch of attempted mass hypnosis. This piece will be one of three solos choreographed for Françoise during 2005-06. The other two will be choreographed by Karim Sebbar and Maguy Marin.
