In Libro each performer has been given individual research
concerning a writer or creator from their own culture.
Thus they come equiped each with a 'persona' through which they can meet the others
making use of dance, movement, and the spoken word.
The writers chosen in this case by the performers are Pierre Michon (France),
Lawrence Durrell and John Berger (England) and Mercé Rodoreda (Catalunya). Libro
was premiered
on april 1997
at the festival Dialoghi
Insoliti in Italy
and subsequently
succesfully received
in France, Spain and
Eastern Europe
